New Years Goals
Every year as the ball drops and we celebrate the coming year, most people reflect on the year past, and have hopes for better things in the future. We have New Years Goals in mind that we think or say we want to do.
Last year my goals were to Build Faith, Grow my Blog and Business, Fitness and Heels. And, last year, amazingly enough I did do all of these things! And I am happy about that. BUT, yes there is a BUT, I felt a bit scattered throughout the year doing it all. And while this year is no different, I still intend to focus on the majority of these things, I intend to implement more of what I’ve learned from this past year and do it even more, even better, and with even greater results.
Do you ever feel that way? Where you did something you said you were going to do, but maybe it wasn’t to the caliber that had hoped? I think we all do. And I think that doesn’t necessarily come from a lack of planning, but rather from how we actually plan and implement those plans.
How I Plan to Plan Better
Last week I talked about my five top choices for planners, and quite frankly it maybe doesn’t matter what kind of planning tool you use, but what matters is how you use it, and does it actually work for you. I’ve been a planner girl forever, even back since my elementary school days, I loved shopping for school supplies, and I still do! For the past 4 plus years I have used one kind of planner,, and while yes, I got a lot of things done day to day and week to week, some would say that what I do is more than most, BUT, I want to accomplish more. Which means, I’ve gotta implement better, work smarter not harder, and become more efficient, and I completely believe that’s why I’m changing my planning for 2017.
If you have guessed by now, my word for 2017 is to IMPLEMENT, and to do it intentionally. And I’m starting by using the Brilliant life planner.

And yes fitness will still be one thing I intend to focus on this year. Last year, I ran my first half marathon, which was a huge goal for me. It is still crazy to think that I accomplished this goal. But I did, and I give some credit to my Beachbody workout programs that helped me to get prepared. I love the 21 day fix, and the meal prep plans, and Shakeology. In fact, when I started these programs, just over a year and half ago, I paid individually for each program as I went through them.

What Are Your Plans?
So what are your plans for 2017? What are your goals? I know what I have listed here is a lot, and like I said before, I do a lot for being a wife and mother of 3, blogger, craft business owner who also has a full time job. It is a lot for one person. But, I would not change doing all the things I love doing. In fact, late in March, I plan to release my first ever ebook on how I do it all, and still stay sane.
